Karl's Junk Pile Nothing valuable here

Today I started back to work after 3-1/2 months off. Although it was nice to have the time off, I'm ready to get back (the kids were starting to drive me a little crazy). I've taken a new job in IBM working on IBM Director, a system management product that ships with all IBM hardware.

I've recently started a long vacation: 3 months off from work. I was at the end of a project, and rather than risk getting assigned to a 100% travel gig for a year or more, decided it was the perfect opportunity to take some time off. I'll be "retooling" some of my skills, getting some of those jobs done around the house, and generally trying not to go crazy with the kids.
