November 2007 beers

Some of the beers I had in November:

  • Brooklyn Brooklyner-Schneider Hopfen-Weisse (on tap) is a weizen bock.
  • Carolina Brewery Oatmeal Porter (on tap) is a local beer.
  • Anchor Steam is a California common style beer ("Steam" is trademarked by Anchor). It was perhaps the first craft brewed beer I had, way back in the late '70's.
  • Bell's Kalamazoo Stout is full-bodied and smooth.
  • Wild Goose Snow Goose Winter Ale is a delicious winter ale.
  • Pyramid Snowcap is a winter ale that's inexpensive enough to drink anytime. I also had their Thunderhead IPA. One of my "regulars"; hoppy, drinkable, and relatively inexpensive.
  • Chimay Bleu is, as I've mentioned, one of my all-time favorites.
  • Highland Gaelic Ale is a nice amber ale. It used to be Janet's favorite before she discovered hops.
